The 127th Canton Fair is Postponed

The 127th Canton Fair, scheduled to start April 15, is postponed until further notice due to the COVID-19 outbreak.

The announcement was made by Ma Hua, the deputy director-general of the Department of Commerce of Guangdong Province, on March 22. This is an attempt to reduce the number of COVID-19 cases in Guangdong.

The famous expo is an international trading event based in Guangzhou which gathers the largest number of buyers and distributers from around the world. It is the greatest business turnover in China and is held twice a year—once in the spring and once in the fall.

The show has been consistent for 62 years and has reached a buyer attendance of 186,015 people from 214 countries at the 126th fair in fall 2019.
