Tea Party

The annual Chashan Customs Carnival will last three days from May 4 in Chashan Town, which translates literally as “tea mountain.” The event features tea culture, a food street, a crafts exhibition, performances and more. The festivities, taking place from 10 to 12 in the morning start with a parade of 1,600 people comprised of families and companies wearing various modern animated costumes or traditional dress from Chinese legends and folk stories. The procession will depart from the event’s main venue at Dongyue Temple (东岳庙), circling around two blocks and ending in the same place.
