Blacklist for Shared Bikes

The Dongguan Transportation Department released a proposal to better manage shared bikes. Some upcoming regulations are worth noting.

The proposal clearly states that a blacklist system will be established. Users who violate the regulations by improperly using or parking shared bikes will be put onto a blacklist—which means they can’t use any brand of shared bikes in the future because the blacklist system is shared among different brands.

99 electronic parking spots were chosen in Nancheng for repairing the parking situation. Users now need to park shared bikes at these chosen spots, to ensure they can continue to use public bikes. For shared bike companies, the proposal states that companies should report the action before adding new shared bikes. Also, they should equip the online and offline service with staff members to solve the report or issues that need to be fixed.
