A Forest of Christmas Trees

TLC International School students have put up festive Christmas trees for local businesses. Six groups of students from TLC’s middle school set off to New World Garden, Dynatown, and Dongcheng Walking Street to decorate Christmas trees on November 20. Daniel Isaiah Williams, a math teacher at TLC, led a team of 8th graders decorating Christmas trees on Dongcheng Walking Street, “These businesses do a lot to support our school, so this is just a way to help celebrate the holiday, say thank you, and give some Christmas spirit,” he said. Students also made special paper cuttings, such as chili hangings for Al Chile restaurant. “Christmas is very important. So, we were only too happy to have them join,” said Eli, a partner at Al Chile Mexican Restaurant.
