Catering to the demographic, new watering holes have been opening to join veteran establishments Hollywood Baby Chang’an and Jim’s Roadhouse. On May 8 starting at 8 p.m. the town connects the two with newer locations, CC café, Olde World Pub and Moon’s Margaritas to create its first official Chang’an pub crawl. Organized by the guys that put together bi-monthly crawls that often host dozens of revelers in Shenzhen, the night features free drinks and gifts along with entertainment and games, including beer pong and a Chang’an limbo competition. “The Shenzhen pub crawl has been going since 2014. The concept is simple, five bars, five free shots and one free T-shirt,” said event organizer Jamie Farrar.
