Spiritual Healing

0315_scene-Spiritual HealingWhile Dongguaners can find a Reiki massage table at a local factory, and Chinese traditional medicine is widespread, alternative healers are not. However, now that Megan Murray from Melbourne, Australia is in town, the city has its first certified Reiki therapist and holistic counselor. The ancient Japanese technique, used to channel energy for healing and reducing stress, has become popular among the world’s professional athletes and open minded individuals, though it still has a fare share of skeptics. Murray says Reiki can treat aches and pains, illness, lack of confidence, and also feeling lethargic, tired or rundown. “If someone has issues or problems, I feel like if we work on ourselves then it reflects in our world and how we see it,” she said. She takes appointments mornings and evenings on Monday through Friday and on Saturdays and Sundays at her home in Dongcheng. Contact her at 134-1286-0407.
