Colorful Life

0714_Scene Brief_Colorful LifeWhat can a painting bring to its audiences? Sentiment, emotion and memories. Organized by Guangzhou’s Consulate General of Mexico, the 21 Space Art Museum opened on exhibit, Colors of Life. In it, Mexican artist Carlos Vivar uses colorful elements to depict subjects taken from life. Bicycles, bullfighters and buildings are presented in a surreal way. The works by Vivar showcase art that reveals a rich Mexican culture. This is the first cooperation between the Mexican consulate and the museum. It aims to bring quality Mexican art pieces to the Pearl River Delta region, and hopefully have the chance to display contemporary art from PRD in Mexico as well. The exhibition will continue till July 13.
